Club Season Tryouts

7-9th Grades

Friday, July 11, Check-In: 2:30pm, Tryouts: 3:30-6:30pm
Tryouts will include physical testing (approach jump, block jump, etc)
Players who make the Club will be notified at the conclusion of the tryout and sign their name as commitment. Emails will then be sent to parents to formally sign our commitment document.
Make-Up Tryouts: Sunday, July 13, Check-In: 1:30pm, Tryouts 2-4pm, Testing: 4:15-5pm
$50 Tryout Fee

10-12th Grades

Friday, July 11, Check-In: 9am, Tryouts: 10am-1pm
Tryouts will include physical testing (approach jump, block jump, etc)

How Early Tryouts Work

Early Tryouts will happen for all players interested in AP High School or Middle School Teams; Walk-Ups Welcome
Each date will consist of Physical Testing as well as Volleyball Skill Evaluations
If you do not make AP, you will be offered a position in BE (MS and HS 9&10 only), just as in the past.
Players will know they make the Club at the conclusion of tryouts and will sign a Commitment Form received via email by 8pm on July 13.
In November, players who made the Club will come for a week of Team Placement Evaluations and Teams will then be selected.
These early Tryouts are in compliance with all AHSAA rules. There will be NO practices until after school season is over.

Post-Tryout Commitments

Alabama Performance will post tryout numbers in the gym at the conclusion of tryouts. Each player will sign their name next to their number if they wish to commit to playing with the club for the season. After posted numbers have been signed, we will send an email out for parents/players to sign the commitment document. The email will have a link to sign your commitment and accept your position within the Club. Once you have signed your commitment, you will receive another email with instructions on how to set up your LeagueApps account and make your deposit payment.
